assisted by Superintendent jails

custodial duties of the
prisoners are performed by the
Jail Staff where as the external
security, Patrolling, etc. are
taken care by Central Reserve
Police Force and search by
Andaman Police. |

Battalion of Andaman Armed
Police handles the escorting of
the prisoners to the
courts/hospitals etc.

A
Medical Officer heads the
Medical Administration of
District Jail, Prothrapur
assisted by other para-medical
